My Nov 2008 – Oct 2009 Goals

My Goals for the next 12 months:

  • Actually update this blog with some regularity.
  • 5K — Break 20 minutes.  This should be doable.  There are lots of 5K’s in the area and I am only 45 seconds off this time.
  • 10K — Achieve a Personal Best (PB) with a sub 42.  This might be more difficult.  There are few 10K’s in the area, and my current PB is 6 minutes off that, but it’s from a few years ago and before I got serious.
  • 1/2 Marathon — Sub 1:30 for a new PB.  Again this might be hard.  There are few halfs in the area and since I do the Full at the Flying Pig, that takes one away
  • Marathon — Just a PB.  I don’t care if it’s one second better or 14 minutes, I just want to do better.  But a 3:20 would be nice since that will be my new qualifying time for Boston.
