Running Week in Review

Monday — 10 miles

Tuesday — 6 miles

Wednesday — 10 miles

Thursday — 6 miles

Saturday — 20 miles

Total — 52 miles

Cummulative — 105 miles

So back to a relatively normal week for me.  I will be trying to stay in the 50-60 mile range going forward which will hopefully keep me a little more energized.  The only bad part about this week has been the lack of daylight at night, which is now going to be even worse.  My long run was very good.  I finished with sub 8:00s for most of the last 6 miles which felt great.

Place of the week: http://www.cincinnati-transit.net/lunken.html  The bike trail at the Lunken airport is a great place to get in a flat run close to my house.  It’s a 5 mile trail that circles the airport, so you get an up close and personal view of landing and departing planes.  After a long week of running the hills in Cincinnati, it’s a great place to get in a flat run.  My main issue with this site is the boredom. I find it very hard to run this course, especially the stretch on Wilmer.  That and there is very little water on the trail.  But it’s hard to beat for a single loop long run.
